Last week, Chloe and I went out to eat on an UNofficial date.  No one else wanted to go so just she and I went up to Mickey's.  We talked a little and she watched tv a little...

Today, a package came that I had ordered for the new house and the box was longer then Piper is tall so once we got all the goods out, Piper had FUN!!  She buried herself in it first and then she found out that if she opened the lid REAL FAST, the packing peanuts flew out!!  It was pretty fun but SUCH A MESS!!

Things to look forward to...

Last night, I was outside with the kids and Dawson, a fourth grader who "likes" Chloe, road his bike by and Teagan yells, "Hey Dawson, why did you give my sister a ring?  She's dating Tyler!"  A RING?? in fourth grade and DATING?? in fourth grade???  GOOD GRIEF!!  It was pretty funny though!!  ENough for now...-AS

This is our new house we are moving to in May...and then we are NEVER moving again (until we retire : ) 

Hello,

I feel like I should type something.  It's been a LONG time (seems like it anyway) since I've had anything to write about.  I still don't have much to say...I have been working alot (well, for me anyway ; )  So we haven't really had anytime for fun.  I did take 7 kids to a different park last week.  That was pretty fun!!  We finally sold our house and we took the kids to go look at our new place and show them their new rooms and such.  Chloe is still NOT sold on moving and switching Elementary schools.  The other girls are pretty excited.  I showed Teagan her new room, which is empty right now, and she said, "Why are you giving me this room?  It doesn't even have a bed??"  I BUSTED out laughing!!  I'm thinking Taffy will be very disappointed in her room as she won't have the fun toys in it that it has right now!!  Piper keeps asking questions like, "Are we taking this couch?  ARe we taking our fridge?"  Funny stuff but they don't have any concept of moving since they haven't ever done it.  I'm SSOOOOO EXCITED!!  I'm am READY!!  But there are plenty of things we will miss!!  Lots of GREAT neighbors, girls for my kids to play with, a park in our back yard, convenience to gymnastics, the sitter, the doctor.  Not like we are moving far, 2 miles so it's NOT that big of a deal but I don't think there are many little kids in our new neighborhood so that will be a BIG adjustment!!  I hope the neighbors invite us back to play...

I took a couple kids on their dates this weekend.  Saturday morning, Piper and I ran errands and went out for lunch.  I took Chloe to a movie Saturday night and last night I took Teagan to Target so she could spend her $8.00 on makeup.  I told Teagan she should save it so she could EARN more and buy something bigger but she didn't like that idea...Enough for now...-AS

Happy Easter, everyone!!  The Lord has risen!

Last night, the girls colored eggs in round two.  Chloe missed it as she was outside playing baseball.  It was fun for the girls and uneventful...Yeah!!  This morning after church, we headed up to Grandma and Grandpa Sindlingers' house.  As always, they had an easter egg hunt.  The kids LOVE that!!  (We had one here before church but it was just a very small one!) We then had a wonderful lunch of ham and all the fixins and then played for a little while before heading home again.  What a FUN and busy day!!  Enough for now...-AS

Coloring Easter Eggs...

Tonight, the girls colored some of their Easter Eggs.  What a FUN thing for the kids to do!! And it wasn't even THAT messy!!  They all started out using the brush provided in the kit and then it moved to Q-Tips and then, what the heck, they just used their fingers!!  It also started out as just painting the eggs and then Aftyn moved it to painting her bandaid on her knee and then she just painted her whole lower leg--OH WELL!!  (I'm really WORKING HARD on just letting them be kids.  I have to remember that painting their leg is NOT the end of the world!!  = )  )  I think Shane is going to let them do some more eggs tomorrow--I'll remind him to take some pictures because I won't be home.  Enough for now...-AS

Isabelle, my niece came a stayed a few days with us this week.  You think when you have FOUR kids already, 1 more wouldn't be that big of a deal--yeah...that's NOT really true.  It is more work and it's just DIFFERENT.  There's a learning curve that goes with having someone else in your house.  She's an only child so I'm sure the noise REALLY drives her crazy, plus she actually has to SHARE at my house.  At home, everything is hers.  For me, it's another person to help get dressed and to get out to the car in a timely manner and to get to BED!!  Bed time is HARD here with just my kids and then add another to that, eeccckkk...  Anyway, it was fun but I'm ready to go back to work tomorrow (and you won't hear me say that very OFTEN!!)  I think the girls enjoyed it too.  Enough...-AS
