Ludicrous!!

I took Taffy to the Doctor this evening and on my way home, I stopped and had to fill up my van.  Can you believe $68.08 for a full tank!!  What the H-E-C-K???  That is RIDICULOUS to say the least!!  Granted, I was on fumes but HOLEY COW!!  It's been a while since I've been that low and had to put that much in my tank.  I have been trying to stay local and walk whenever possible.  For summer we have a new rule: If we want to go to McDonalds, we have to walk.  It's only six tenths of a mile to walk there so it won't kill us to walk there and home again.  We just have to watch out for traffic.  Since University is closed, there is alot more cars in our area.  We walked Taffy to her 15 month check up in May.  That office is about a block and a half closer to home then McDonalds and Aftyn likes to go "back-packin'".  Unfortunately, I figured out Aftyn probably had an ear infection AFTER hours so I had to drive 11 miles to the office for her to be seen.  Now I just need to get Shane to quit driving around looking for deer all the time or running out for food when we have plenty of groceries here to eat--Wish me luck on that!!  Enough for now...-AS
