Hello Santa...

Our tree is PATHETIC this year...

At the mall today--we actually had some smiles!!

Taffy is BURIED into Chloe's shoulder.  She's trying to hide from that Jolly Old Man at Jolly Holiday Lights.  Chloe said it's because he isn't the real one.  She's probably right.

Last night, I took the girls to Jolly Holiday Lights.  As far as I'm concerned, it's a tradition.  We don't always go the same night each year, but we go every year.  Shane didn't go with us because he must be kind of Grinchy this year and he was on call and he needed to do his shopping.  (he has one person to buy for and he waited until last night--it was worth it though.  I got a new cell phone that he couldn't keep until CHristmas because I was trying to use my old one on the way home and he had already switched it over to the new one so mine wasn't working and I was 5 seconds from calling Verizon to see what was up.)  At the end of JHL, you can go into this little place and have hot chocolate and cookies and see Santa.  Taffy was NOT impressed!!  Piper wasn't really either but she did tell him she wanted a Hannah Montana Camera.  Today, we went to the mall and Piper actually sat on his lap.  HOLEY COW!!  I about fainted!!  And she talked to him!!  Aftyn talked to him too but wasn't about to sit anywhere near him.  He's a really good Santa.  He talks to the kids and does everything to get them to talk to him.  Aftyn told him she likes "feefee" (goofy) and she told him she wants a baby for Christmas.  If I would have known they would cooperate, I would have had them dress alittle better.  Oh well.  Enough for now...-AS
