Orlando

Taffy, Piper and Teagan on a carousel in SeaWorld.
Taffy is standing IN a sand box trying to pick sand out of her toes :)
Piper, Taffy and Teagan on Shamu at Sea World.  Chloe was with Luke.
Piper, Teagan and Taffy in Downtown Disney.  Chloe wouldn't stand there because it was "too embarrassing, Mom!"
Piper (crying, of course), Teagan, Taffy and Chloe outside of our hotel.  I'm not sure if there are really alligators or not so I made the Kids stand near the lake-hehe.

The first two days of the trip, we spent in Orlando--my favorite city so far.  Friday, we went to downtown Disney and shopped a little before the kids went swimming and then we went to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom.  We rode a few rides and watched a parade in the dark and then saw a FANTASTIC Fireworks Display.  (can't remember the name of it)    Saturday, we went to Sea World.  The kids really liked the Shamu show.  Taffy said Shamu all day--she loved it!!  Chloe stayed at Magic Kingdom late the night before with Tina and family so she stayed with them that night and then came to Sea World later so we didn't see much of her that day.  She was hanging with the big kids.  Enough for now...-AS

PS.  I should preface the whole trip by saying the day before we left for Florida, my dryer broke, I had to call the airline on Thursday before we left to buy another spot on the plane for yet another suitcase because all our stuff wasn't fitting into FOUR BAGS, and then we got to Florida and unloaded all our suitcases out of the rental van and then Shane was going to drive somewhere fast food to get us supper at 10 PM since we hadn't really eaten since we left Waukee at 1PM and the remote to the van wouldn't work so he walked about a mile to a gas station to get a new battery for the remote--that didn't work.  We finally got a hold of Alamo the next day and got into the van-- finally!!  We ended up eating some NASTY pizza from the bar at the hotel that night.  The kids didn't really complain but it wasn't good!!  Good thing I brought snacks!
